TANNA is the most influential professional association for Nurses and midwives in the country.The association hold meeting for the whole nurses annually as well as scientific conference to share some professional presentations and exchange ideas, experience, challenges and barriers faced in the nursing practices.
Each year carries its own theme which is distributed by ICN-International council of Nurses where TANNA is a core member.
This year event was opened by Hon. Sulemani Jaffo, Minister President’s office- Rural Administration and Local Government Authority as the Guest of Honour on 2nd October 2018. This year the AGM took place in Tabora Region from 25th to 27th September, 2013 where by more than 1000 Nurses and Midwives attended the meeting (Annex 1). The main Theme for this year was; “Closing the Gap: Millennium Development Goals 4, 5, 6.
The event was successful under the support of the following; MOHSW, NHIF, TUGHE, Shelys Pharmaceutical Limited, VODACOM, TNMC, MSD, PSPF, Aga khan University and other stakeholders.
